Asan-si Awarded 'Best' in Manifesto Pledge Evaluation
Three Consecutive Years of Top Ratings for Campaign Promises
Asan City in Chungnam announced on the 13th that it received the highest grade (SA) in the '2024 Evaluation of Pledge Implementation and Information Disclosure by Elected Heads of Basic Local Governments in the 8th Local Election' announced by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters.
This award marks the third consecutive year of receiving the highest evaluation related to pledges, following the Grand Prize for the Manifesto (Local Election Category) in 2022 and the highest grade (SA) in the Pledge Implementation Plan Evaluation last year.
The evaluation was conducted by the Manifesto Headquarters from February, targeting the pledge materials posted on the websites of 226 basic local governments nationwide for the 8th local election term.
Under the slogan "Let’s Make All Citizens Happy" for the 8th local election term, the city has been promoting 100+1 pledge projects. Among all pledges, 29 have been completed and 72 are progressing normally, showing a completion rate of 28.7% and a progress rate of 62.2%.

Mayor Park Kyung-gwi said, "Receiving the highest pledge evaluation grade for three consecutive years is the result of communicative administration achieved through active cooperation with citizens," and added, "We will continue to do our best to ensure that the valuable promises made to citizens are completed within the term."
