Town Hall Meeting Held at Sejong Business Site
10 Million KRW for First and Second Childbirths... 20 Million KRW for Third Child
Mandatory Paid Parental Leave for Both Men and Women
Yoon Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman of Kolmar Holdings, announced that the company will provide childbirth incentives starting from the birth of the second child for its employees.
Kolmar Holdings stated on the 13th that it held a 'DIVE into Kolmar' town hall meeting on the 10th at its Sejong business site located in Jeonui-myeon, Sejong City. This town hall meeting was held one year after the first town hall meeting was held at the Korea Kolmar Comprehensive Technology Center in July last year.

At the town hall meeting, Vice Chairman Yoon announced the childbirth incentive plan. The incentive will be 10 million KRW for the first and second child, and 20 million KRW for the third child, increasing the childbirth incentive amount. Additionally, paid parental leave will be mandatory and available to both men and women without distinction. Earlier this year, Yoon established the Kolmar Childbirth Incentive Team within Kolmar Holdings. He stated, "The childbirth incentive plan will be applied from this very moment," which was met with applause from the employees, according to Kolmar Holdings.
The event was organized to boost the pride of employees working not only at Korea Kolmar but also at Kolmar BNH and HNG in Sejong. During the town hall meeting, a video featuring stories of 17 employees working in Sejong was shown. The stories included siblings working together in the logistics team, adapting to Sejong from Haenam, the southernmost village, and raising a third child with Kolmar. Employees featured in the video also took the stage to ask and answer questions with Vice Chairman Yoon. Vice Chairman Yoon appeared on the event stage set on the lawn of the Korea Kolmar Sejong plant wearing a green T-shirt and jeans.
The Sejong plant serves as the headquarters for Kolmar's global production bases, producing products for about 900 domestic and international clients. When the Sejong plant was built in 2014, it was the largest single plant in Asia. Vice Chairman Yoon emphasized, "The Sejong plant is like the heart of Kolmar. The products and quality made at Sejong set the global standard, and the pride of Kolmar employees begins here."

After the town hall meeting, an 'EAT Kolmar' event followed, where Vice Chairman Yoon and employees enjoyed beer together. Food trucks offering various foods, beer, and coffee were set up around the lawn area to create a picnic-like atmosphere.
A Kolmar Holdings official said, "This town hall meeting is especially meaningful as it was held in Sejong, the place where Kolmar began and its heart," adding, "We will continue to increase opportunities for employees to enjoy together and communicate freely."
