200 Gyeonggi Youth Experience 'Overseas Employment' in 13 Cities Across 12 Countries
Gyeonggi Province will carry out a project this year targeting 200 young people to support their overseas employment in 13 cities across 12 countries.
View original imageGyeonggi Province is expanding the ‘Gyeonggi Youth Overseas Employment and Startup Opportunity Expansion’ project, which provides local youth dreaming of overseas employment and startups with opportunities to experience working at overseas companies.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency announced on the 12th that it will publicly recruit 200 young people from Gyeonggi Province to participate in the ‘Gyeonggi Youth Overseas Employment and Startup Opportunity Expansion’ project in 13 cities across 12 countries worldwide from the 13th of this month to the 3rd of next month.
The overseas company experience locations include ▲USA (LA) ▲Japan (Tokyo) ▲Indonesia (Jakarta) ▲Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) ▲India (New Delhi, Bengaluru) ▲Uzbekistan (Tashkent) ▲Austria (Vienna) ▲Australia (Melbourne) ▲Thailand (Bangkok) ▲Taiwan (Taipei) ▲Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) ▲Singapore.
Compared to last year’s 9 cities in 7 countries, countries with high youth interest in overseas employment such as the USA, Europe, and Australia have been added. The number of participants has also increased from 100 to 200.
Gyeonggi Province supports participants with the overseas company experience program, accommodation costs, meal expenses, airfare, travel insurance, and visa issuance fees (for required regions).
Eligible participants are youth aged 19 to 39 who currently reside in Gyeonggi Province as of the announcement date. Participants can apply for up to two preferred countries and regions.
Gyeonggi Province will conduct the overseas experience project in two phases depending on the country and city: Phase 1 (July 29 to August 23) and Phase 2 (October 21 to November 15, November 11 to December 6). Applications can be submitted online through the Jobaba Apply app (apply.jobaba.net).

Gyeonggi Province will announce the final selected participants at the end of June after document screening, aptitude and personality tests, and interviews.
