Sahakyeongeum Achieves Zero Penalty in Public Institution Integrated Disclosure for Two Consecutive Years
The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as the Private School Pension) announced on the 9th that it has achieved a zero-penalty integrated disclosure for two consecutive years as a result of the 2023 public institution integrated disclosure inspection conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Integrated disclosure is a system under the Act on the Management of Public Institutions, whereby all public institutions disclose major management information through the Public Institution Management Information System (ALIO). The Ministry of Economy and Finance conducts inspections three times a year and imposes penalty points on institutions based on the degree of violations such as false disclosures or disclosure errors.
The Service, leading ESG management, focuses on enhancing the timeliness and accuracy of management disclosures by developing a timely disclosure management system, establishing a disclosure data inspection framework, and providing training for disclosure officers to establish transparent governance and improve the public's right to know. It also actively disclosed voluntary disclosure recommended items including ESG management status and the ESG Operating Committee.
In addition, it operated a weekly "Ad-hoc Disclosure Inspection Day" to prevent delays and omissions in ad-hoc disclosures, made efforts to minimize omissions and errors in regular disclosures through pre-inspection of key items, and expanded management disclosure training for all employees to strengthen internal disclosure capabilities.
