Gongju-si Supports Small Business Owners with Up to 500,000 KRW for Card Fees
Gongju City in Chungnam announced on the 9th that it will invest 1 billion KRW to support card fees for small business owners who are struggling with management difficulties due to rising prices.
The city expanded the support target from the previous annual sales of 300 million KRW or less to 500 million KRW or less this year. For those with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less last year, 0.5% of card sales will be supported, and for those with sales exceeding 300 million KRW but less than 500 million KRW, 1.1% will be supported, up to a maximum of 500,000 KRW.
Small business owners can apply from June 3 to June 28 through the Gongju City website or the administrative welfare centers in the towns and townships where their businesses are located. The city plans to pay the card fees by August.
