Convenience store 7-Eleven announced on the 7th that it will hold a large-scale discount event for a month in May, which has many holidays and warmer weather, featuring beer, chicken, wine, and more.
First, until the 31st, a 'Chimaek Combo' discount event will be held, where customers can purchase a 'Fried Chicken (one whole)' at half price when buying a 6-pack bundle of 'Haneulbori Beer.' The Fried Chicken (one whole) is a cost-effective chicken product priced at 12,900 KRW per whole chicken, launched by 7-Eleven last year. It is fried upon order and is more than 35% cheaper compared to the average price of over 20,000 KRW for regular franchise chicken. Through this event, customers can purchase one whole chicken for 6,450 KRW, which is more than 65% cheaper. This means you can enjoy one whole chicken and one can of beer for less than 10,000 KRW in total.
7-Eleven is also conducting a large-scale beer discount event. Until the 2nd of next month, popular imported beer cans such as 'Asahi Draft Beer Can' and 'Stella Artois' in bundles (4-pack, 6-pack) will be sold at up to approximately 35% off. Domestic beers are also discounted by up to 20%. The Crush bundle (500ml, 6-pack) is discounted from 16,800 KRW to 13,000 KRW, and Cass (370ml, 6-pack) is discounted from 12,100 KRW to 11,000 KRW.
During this month, a Pepsi Cola giveaway event will be held when purchasing two types: ‘Mild Boneless Chicken’ and ‘Mala Boneless Skewers.’ Six popular products from 7-Eleven’s private brand (PB) ‘Seven Select,’ including ‘Puhaha Salt Milk Cream Bread,’ ‘Bap Honey Butter Popcorn,’ and ‘Green Onion Ramen,’ will be sold at a 30% discount when paid with Hyundai Card, Nonghyup Card, or Naver Pay Money. More than 60 types of wine, including the ‘Wine of the Month,’ will be offered at a 20% discount when paid with Lotte Card or Naver Pay Money.
