Yongin City Opens Registration for 'Carbon Neutrality Practice Green Complex Competition'
Support of 2.5 Million Won in Volume-Based Waste Bags for Excellent Complexes with Over 150 Households by the 10th
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is conducting the 'Carbon Neutral Lifestyle Practice Green Complex Selection Competition' targeting apartment complexes in the region.
Complexes with 150 or more households can apply, and if selected as participants, they will carry out various activities for carbon neutrality, such as reducing electricity consumption and improving energy-consuming facilities, from the 16th to October 31st.

View original imageThe city plans to divide groups into those with 150 to less than 500 households and those with 500 or more households, evaluating items such as energy usage reduction rate, the ratio of electric vehicle charging zones, solar panel installation, and improvements to energy-consuming facilities, to select 'Outstanding Green Complexes' in December.
The city will provide volume-based waste bags worth approximately 2.5 million KRW to the top complexes, 1.5 million KRW worth to excellent complexes, and 1 million KRW worth to encouraging complexes. Two top complexes will also receive a 'Green Complex' plaque.
Apartments wishing to participate can download the application form from the city’s website by the 10th and apply via email or mail.
Previously, in last year’s competition conducted by the city, eight complexes including Haedeun Maeul Good Morning Hill and Gwanggyo Ssangyong Foreduen 2 Complex were designated as excellent complexes and given incentives.
