Saewool Unit 2 Reaches 100% Output After Completing 3rd Planned Preventive Maintenance
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head: So You-seop) announced that "Saeul Unit 2 (Pressurized Water Reactor, 1.4 million kW class), which entered its 3rd planned preventive maintenance on March 11, resumed power generation on May 3 and reached 100% output at 1 PM on the 6th."
During this planned preventive maintenance period, Saeul Unit 2 underwent statutory inspections in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act, replaced nuclear fuel, and conducted inspections and maintenance on major equipment and facilities to enhance the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
