Galleria, Breguet Unveil 'Reine de Naples Mint' for the First Time
Galleria Department Store announced on the 6th that it will introduce the new model ‘Reine de Naples Mint’ to commemorate the renewal opening of the ‘Breguet’ store at its Seoul luxury pavilion.
In March, Galleria converted an idle space on the basement first floor of the East building of the luxury pavilion into a commercial area, partially expanding the luxury watch section. In the newly created space, the Swiss luxury watch brands ‘Breguet’ and ‘Omega’ reopened with a renewed concept. The Breguet boutique, presented with the latest concept, features a lounge-style independent VIP consultation area, allowing for private consultations.
Breguet, which was the first to invent the tourbillon (a device that reduces time errors caused by gravity), is a Swiss high-end watch brand established in 1775, renowned for its outstanding technology to the extent that it is called the ‘history of modern watches.’
The ‘Reine de Naples Mint,’ introduced for the first time in Korea, features a mint green color symbolizing hope. It boasts an oval-shaped case reminiscent of an egg and delicate curves. Especially, the dial made of natural white mother-of-pearl material is adorned with 121 diamonds set using the snow setting technique (a method of densely setting diamonds of various sizes without gaps), adding to its splendor. At the 6 o’clock position, a pear-shaped diamond is set, attracting attention. The price is in the 70 million KRW range.
