Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Visits Hanguk Ujin School Ahead of Children's Day to Encourage Children with Disabilities
On the morning of the 3rd, ahead of Children's Day, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the 'Wujin Children's Grand Festival' held at Hanguk Wujin School to encourage the growing children.
Hanguk Wujin School is a national special school established in January 2000 in Jung-dong, Mapo-gu, for the education of students with physical disabilities.
Before the event, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Lee Han-woo, Principal of Hanguk Wujin School, and school officials toured the kindergarten outdoor activity space 'Wujin Kkumnuri-teo' and the walking trail, created through the Mapo-gu education expense support project, and held a commemorative ceremony.

Later, at the 'Wujin Children's Grand Festival' held in the gymnasium of Hanguk Wujin School, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "I hope all the children, parents, and teachers have a joyful and laughter-filled time at the 'Wujin Children's Grand Festival,'" adding, "Mapo-gu will prepare and actively promote various welfare policies with the belief that a country where people with disabilities are happy is an advanced nation."
