Seoul City announced on the 3rd that Kim Sang-han, former Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, was appointed as the First Deputy Mayor for Administration effective from the 4th.
Deputy Mayor Kim is a graduate of the 37th Administrative Examination and has served Seoul City for nearly 30 years. He has held key positions such as Budget Officer, Director of Management Planning, Director of the Administration Bureau, Director of Welfare Policy Office, and Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, making him an administrative expert with diverse experience and strong execution capabilities.
The First Deputy Mayor for Administration of Seoul City is a vice-ministerial political public official appointed by the President. The appointment was made following the city's recommendation and the President's approval.
