Jeon Gap-su, President of Gwangju Sports Council, Elected Vice President of National Sports Council Presidents Association
Jeon Gap-su, President of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council, was elected Vice President of the 2nd Term National Council of City and Provincial Sports Council Presidents.
President Jeon is a former volleyball player and has served as President of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Volleyball Association, Vice President of the Korea Corporate Volleyball Federation, and Vice President of the Korea Walking Association.
He is currently the President of the Korea Disabled Volleyball Association, Executive Vice President of the Korea Paralympic Committee, Advisory Member of Gwangju Metropolitan City Government, and a member of the Korea Sports Council’s Committee for the Revision of the National Sports Promotion Act, recognized for his active domestic and international activities and experience.
The 2nd Term National Council of City and Provincial Sports Council Presidents was established to lead the development of elected local sports councils and the advancement of sports culture in the Republic of Korea, sharing issues by region and engaging in activities such as discovering sports policies.
It operates with the top priority of stable management of elected sports councils, improvement of local sports policies, and revitalization of sports.
