The Sugi 3-ri Senior Center was established through a lease agreement by utilizing part of the Bomunsa Temple, a religious facility in the village, as a senior center for community development, in connection with the 'Senior Center Lease (Monthly Rent) Support Project.'
The Tanyo Village Senior Center was created as a 'Hwaseong-type Senior Center' applying universal design focused on users regardless of gender, age, or disability. In particular, it was designed with elderly-friendly features such as ▲automatic doors for transportation-vulnerable individuals ▲removal of entrance level differences ▲signage for visibility, and is the first in Hwaseong City to pursue 'BF Certification.' The 'BF Certification' system certifies whether an environment is created where children, the elderly, and people with disabilities do not experience inconvenience in using facilities.
