This MOU was established to promote automated food service stores based on each company's flagship products. Hanwha Robotics' collaborative robots and B-Robotics' serving robots will continue mutually complementary sales activities to expand the business. The main points of the agreement include ▲sharing sales information ▲integrating robot product offerings ▲mutual support for on-site testing.
Since commercializing Korea's first collaborative robot in 2017, Hanwha Robotics has introduced various food tech technologies such as wine breeding robots and barista robots. By collaborating with B-Robotics, which has distributed over 3,100 serving robots domestically, full store automation including both kitchen and dining areas is possible. Hanwha Robotics will begin an active push into the food service business starting with this MOU.
