Gyeonggi-do Brand Promotion Center Opens at Suwon Starfield from 4th to 6th
Gyeonggi Province will operate an experiential brand promotion center called ‘Bonggong Wonderland’ using the provincial character Bonggong from the 4th to the 6th at Starfield Suwon.
The Gyeonggi Province brand promotion center is a space in the form of a pop-up store that maximizes the advantages of face-to-face on-site promotion, serving as a place to introduce Gyeonggi Province in a more friendly way.
This promotion center is designed as a communication-oriented space focused on photo spots where children and families visiting Starfield Suwon, one of Gyeonggi Province’s popular attractions, can all enjoy together under the concept of ‘Bonggong Wonderland,’ a fantastic land journey with Bonggong.
Visitors can all receive a customized Bonggong photo card engraved with their names. The back of the photo card is designed in the form of a ‘The Gyeonggi Pass’ card. Upon entering Bonggong Wonderland, visitors pass through a subway-shaped gate, guiding everyone to the fantastic land wherever they want to go.
In particular, visitors who follow the character’s Instagram (@bonggong_with_gyeonggi) at this promotion center will receive a limited-edition Bonggong keyring for Children’s Day.

Bonggong is Gyeonggi Province’s provincial character, named by vertically arranging the consonants of the core values of the 8th elected administration, ‘change’ and ‘opportunity’: ‘bieup (ㅂ) + hieut (ㅎ)’ and ‘giyeok (ㄱ) + hieut (ㅎ).’ It also contains the dictionary meaning of Bonggong (奉公), which means to serve the country and society diligently while working in public service.
