Governor Lee Chang-yong to Attend ASEAN-Korea-Japan-China Governors Meeting and ADB Annual Meeting in Georgia
Lee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea, will depart for Tbilisi, Georgia on the 2nd to attend the Korea-Japan-China Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting.
The Bank of Korea announced on the 29th that Governor Lee is scheduled to attend the "57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)" held in Tbilisi, Georgia for four days starting from the 2nd. Governor Lee will participate as a panelist in a seminar hosted by the Bank of Georgia, discussing cooperation for the development of the fintech industry.
Governor Lee will also attend the "24th Korea-Japan-China Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting" and the "27th ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting" held on the 3rd (Friday).
At the Korea-Japan-China Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, he plans to discuss regional economic trends and financial cooperation measures, exchanging views on the meeting agenda.
At the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, recent financial and economic conditions and major risk factors will be discussed, and efforts will be made to reach consensus among member countries on measures to enhance the effectiveness of the CMIM.
