"Spreading Safety Culture in the Aviation Industry"... Incheon Airport Joins Hands with Ministry of Employment and Labor
Incheon International Airport Corporation has joined hands with the Ministry of Employment and Labor to spread a safety culture in the aviation industry.
On the 25th, Incheon International Airport Corporation announced that it had signed a business agreement the previous day with the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor to "promote safety awareness and culture in the aviation industry."
This agreement is part of the 'Serious Accident Reduction Roadmap' announced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in November 2022. According to the agreement, the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office will support the corporation's industrial accident prevention activities and cooperate to disseminate best practices in aviation industry safety, such as risk assessments.
The corporation plans to actively promote a public-private joint safety culture expansion campaign and jointly operate an 'Aviation Industry Safety Sector Council' that includes airlines and ground handling companies.

Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "We will actively participate in the government's nationwide safety culture practice movement," adding, "We will continue to strengthen safety culture improvement activities so that airport workers and users can internalize safety awareness in both industrial sites and daily life."
