Daegu Urban Development Corporation to Hire 12 Experiential Youth Interns
Daegu Urban Development Corporation has hired 12 final successful candidates for the 2024 first half youth experiential internship program.
The youth experiential internship is a recruitment process designed to provide local youth with opportunities to experience public institution jobs, helping them explore career options and strengthen their employment capabilities.
Daegu Urban Development Corporation has been steadily hiring youth experiential interns, with 7 in 2021, 12 in 2022, and 10 in 2023, making efforts to create jobs within the region.
The youth experiential internship candidates are selected through a three-step recruitment process: submission of application forms, document screening, and interviews. Notably, as part of Daegu Urban Development Corporation’s job-centered personnel management, applicants were asked to submit their preferred work departments during application, and based on this, they were assigned to departments matching their individual experience, career, and qualifications.
After starting work, the corporation will continuously support the interns by conducting orientation sessions, assigning dedicated mentors, and providing various educational experiences to enhance understanding of Daegu Urban Development Corporation as well as strengthen the employment capabilities and professionalism of the youth interns.
