Icheon City to Appoint 'Special Advisor' to Strengthen Youth Policies
Ichon City in Gyeonggi Province is establishing a 'Youth Special Advisor' position to strengthen youth policies.
On the 9th, Ichon City announced that it will publicly recruit a Youth Special Advisor to build a youth network and formulate policies based on identified policy demands.
The Youth Special Advisor will be responsible for ▲promoting youth participation in city administration and gathering their opinions ▲building youth (organization) networks through communication and cooperation ▲proposing policies and advising the mayor based on youth public opinion ▲and other matters deemed necessary by the mayor to promote youth policies.
The recruitment period is from the 11th to the 19th, and there is one position available. Applicants must be youth aged 19 to 39 who are registered residents of Ichon City, currently enrolled students or employees of universities or companies within the city, or operating a business within the city.
The city will prioritize candidates based on youth suitability, representativeness, activity experience, and expertise. The term of appointment is two years from the date of appointment, and a designated activity allowance will be provided.
