Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will launch the "2nd Youth Policy Council" on the 12th.
On this day, Seongnam City announced on the 9th that it will hold an inauguration ceremony and the first regular meeting, including the presentation of appointment letters, with 56 council members attending at Moran Hall in City Hall.
The Youth Policy Council is a youth participation organization that represents local youth to propose and communicate youth policies to Seongnam City.

Council members will be assigned to four subcommittees?youth policy planning, media, cultural planning, and communication?with 13 to 15 members each, and will be active until the end of next year.
Main activities include monitoring youth policies and proposing policies, reporting and promotional activities, planning cultural events in the region, and communication and cooperation with youth organizations.
The policy proposals made by the Youth Policy Council will be reflected in city administration after expert consultations on feasibility, viability, budget, and discussions with related departments.
