The Library Culture and Arts Club Activity Support Project is a program supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to establish a space for cultural and artistic activities that local residents can directly experience and enjoy, using libraries, which are easily accessible to everyone, as a base for public library cultural and artistic communities.
This year’s competition was divided into four fields?▲music ▲theater ▲art ▲other?and targeted public libraries of local governments nationwide. Among the autonomous districts in Gwangju, Buk-gu was the only one selected, with Jungheung Library’s ‘Bird Utilization Craft Club Operation Support Project’ in the art category.

The club will run from October 20 to November 16, on the third Friday of each month.
Additionally, on November 23, a performance sharing event will be held where participating students will exhibit their bird utilization craft works and explain them to visitors.
