Ulsan City Holds Special Education on 'Banguchon's Petroglyphs'... Plogging Volunteer Activity Included
Strengthening the Expertise of Ulsan Cultural Tourism Guides
On the 8th at 10 a.m., Ulsan City will hold a special training session related to the UNESCO World Heritage inscription of the ‘Banguchon Petroglyphs’ at the City Council 1st floor Citizen Hall, attended by about 50 Ulsan cultural tourism interpreters.
This training was organized to enhance the expertise of cultural tourism interpreters in explaining the Banguchon Petroglyphs and to provide excellent interpretation services.
The training will be led by Choi Hyun-sook, Director of the Petroglyph Museum, who will give a lecture titled ‘What We Must Do for the UNESCO World Heritage Banguchon Petroglyphs,’ aimed at increasing understanding of the Banguchon Petroglyph heritage currently being pursued for UNESCO World Heritage inscription and discussing the role of cultural tourism interpreters in the field.
The cultural tourism interpreters participating in the training will also conduct a plogging volunteer activity, picking up trash around the Banguchon area on site.
