Gyeonggi-do Supports Independent Employment for Out-of-School Youth... 3.6 Million KRW Annually
Gyeonggi Province will start supporting employment independence for out-of-school youth from this month.
On the 2nd, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will promote the 'Gyeonggi Province Out-of-School Youth Employment Independence Support Service' project, which supports tuition fees, instructor fees, and other expenses at training institutions so that out-of-school youth aged 15 to 24 in the province can receive the training they desire.
The support scale is up to 3.6 million KRW per person annually.
Out-of-school youth are participating in bakery and pastry vocational training, making bread.

Out-of-school youth who wish to participate in the Employment Independence Support Service project can apply by contacting the out-of-school youth support centers in each city and county. This year, reflecting the demand of participating youth, additional workplace experience sites and private companies in the IT industry, coffee franchises, and pet training institutions will be recruited.

Park Geun-gyun, Director of the Gyeonggi Province Lifelong Education Bureau, stated, "We will actively support out-of-school youth by providing personalized vocational training and workplace experience opportunities to help them successfully enter society and achieve stable independence."
