Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Election Commissions Confirm 1,198 Polling Stations for the 22nd General Election

The Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungnam Election Commissions have finalized the polling stations for the 22nd National Assembly election and announced that voting guides and election brochures of parties and candidates have been sent to each household.
There are a total of 1,198 polling stations: 362 in Daejeon, 85 in Sejong, and 751 in Chungnam.
To improve voters' accessibility to polling stations, the Election Commission installed 1,193 out of the 1,198 polling stations (99.58%) on the first floor or in locations equipped with elevators.
The voting guide delivered to each household includes the name of the building where the polling station is located and a map. Voters can check candidates' platforms, pledges, assets, military service records, tax payment and delinquency status, and criminal records through the election brochures. Additionally, the voter's name, voter registration number, and instructions on how to participate in early voting and voting on election day (including voting times and locations) are provided.
The Election Commission sent election brochures of 20 parties, including 14 parties that submitted brochures only in certain regions among the 38 parties that registered candidates for proportional representation National Assembly seats. Voting ballots were also sent to about 5,600 absentee voters.
