Reform New Party "President and Han Dong-hoon, Reckless Populist Promises"
The Reform New Party criticized on the 31st, saying, "As the president promises budget bombs worth tens or hundreds of trillions in each region, Chairman Han Dong-hoon and the People Power Party's local candidates are also recklessly making populist pledges."
Jung In-seong, spokesperson for the Reform New Party's election countermeasures committee, said in a statement that day, "Are President Yoon Seok-yeol and Emergency Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon suddenly acting like Lee Jae-myung as the election approaches?"
Earlier, the People Power Party announced a pledge to implement 'free education from age 5 starting in 2025' that morning.
Spokesperson Jung directly criticized, "When asked about how to secure funding, they all uniformly say that the Yoon Seok-yeol government will take care of everything," adding, "It is nothing more than a spoiled child planning to solve everything by getting allowance from their father."
He continued, "The problem is that the government of the Republic of Korea is not a rich father like Yang Moon-seok and Gong Young-woon (Democratic Party candidates)," and pointed out, "We cannot help but ask what the source of confidence is for a government that once claimed the national treasury was empty to now recklessly make populist pledges."

If that's the case, they should just propose unification with the Democratic Party."
