Sogang University recently announced on the 30th that it held a signing ceremony for the operation of the 'Climate Reporters Club.'

Representatives from Sogang University's College of Knowledge Convergence Media, the nonprofit organization Our Future, and the nonprofit organization Climate Solution held a signing ceremony on the 27th at Sogang University's Gabriel Hall to operate the Climate Reporters Club for the public interest and the advancement of climate journalism.
The Climate Reporters Club is a professional network of reporters established to assist in in-depth coverage of climate change. It was formed to inform the public about the impacts of abnormal weather and solutions to these issues, as well as to raise awareness about environmental protection.
The Climate Reporters Club plans to promote cooperation among reporters through symposia held every semester and various networks, and to expand coverage of international climate change news.
Additionally, it intends to actively support climate-related reporting by building a climate-related database and supporting programs for planned coverage.

Furthermore, Sogang University plans to carry out various activities through the Climate Reporters Club, including △operating programs to strengthen reporting skills in cooperation with academies △running global exchange programs related to climate journalism △hosting global symposia centered on climate reporters.
