The support center provides ▲free residency space ▲basic startup education and expert lectures ▲mentoring by experts in law, taxation, etc. ▲promotion and distribution support benefits.
The target residents are startup companies or prospective entrepreneurs who own webtoon IPs or are involved in various content fields such as web novels, games, and videos. A total of nine companies will be selected. Individuals such as artists or prospective entrepreneurs who have not yet started a business can start their business within six months after signing the residency agreement.
Participants for the support project targeting residents are also being recruited. Up to 3 million KRW per company will be provided to help startup companies stabilize by supporting product production, intellectual property registration, and various promotional activities using IP. They plan to provide a one-stop service from promoting owned content to product distribution by participating in events such as the Character Licensing Fair and Bucheon International Comics Festival.
Applications will be accepted online from the 29th until 3 PM on April 12. Detailed information can be checked and applications submitted through the agency’s integrated project management system.
