On the 26th (local time), foreign media including The Independent reported that a 35-year-old man living in Dallas, Texas, is running a campaign to allow voters to select 'Literally Anybody Else' on the ballot in this election. His full name is 'Literally Anybody Else,' with 'Literally Anybody' as his first name and 'Else' as his last name. Originally named Dustin Ebbie, he recently changed his name to 'Literally Anybody Else.' After that, he declared his candidacy for the 2024 U.S. presidential election. This man is a retired U.S. Army veteran who served for six years. He is currently known to work as a math teacher in the suburbs of Dallas. 'Literally Anybody Else' received legal approval for the name change from a U.S. court and even obtained a driver's license under his new name.
'Literally Anybody Else' explained that he is doing this to express dissatisfaction with the leading candidates from the two major parties, President Biden and former President Trump. In an interview with the media, he said, "I am tired of the endless partisan bickering that benefits no ordinary citizen," and added, "There needs to be an outlet for people who feel the same fatigue as I do." He further explained the reason for his campaign by saying, "I am not trying to become president," and "I want to provide an option for citizens who think it would be better to literally vote for 'Anybody Else'." He added, "This is how we need to make the voters' voices heard."

To get the name 'Anybody Else' on the Texas presidential ballot, he must collect 113,000 signatures from Texas voters, excluding primary candidates, by May. He acknowledged that the chances of success for this campaign are not high but said, "It is not entirely impossible," and that he will continue his campaign. 'Anybody Else' also opened a fundraising site. So far, the amount collected through the donation site is $290 (about 400,000 KRW).
In closing, 'Anybody Else' urged, "We should not leave the choice between the king of debt (Trump) and an 81-year-old man (Biden) as it is," and encouraged, "Let's send a warning message to Washington together."
