View original imageThe inauguration ceremony was attended by the new president Kim, Hong Ikpyo, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, Jeong Daecheol, president of the Korea Constitutional Association, as well as about 100 patent attorneys and industry officials.
President Kim was elected as the 43rd president in last month's Patent Attorneys Association presidential election, receiving 419 votes (39.6%) out of a total of 1,056 votes.

In his inaugural speech, President Kim stated, “I will contribute to improving the patent attorney system, including the realization of patent service fees and securing patent attorneys' rights to represent in patent infringement lawsuits, for the benefit of both patent attorneys and companies.”
