Gyeonggi-do Expands Customized Consulting for Hazardous Chemical Emission Sites to 70 Locations
Gyeonggi Province will conduct customized consulting for businesses that emit hazardous chemical substances.
Gyeonggi Province announced that starting from the 27th, it will carry out a "Customized Consulting Project for Hazardous Chemical (Odor) Emission Businesses" targeting 30 hazardous chemical handling businesses and 40 odor-emitting businesses within the province to minimize odor complaints, reduce chemical emissions, and prevent chemical accidents.
The main consulting services include ▲ measurement and analysis to verify odor emission status ▲ chemical safety consulting for businesses ▲ guidance on public institution projects for facility improvement ▲ and guidance on compliance with laws such as the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the Chemical Substances Control Act.
Park Dae-geun, head of the Environmental Health and Safety Division of Gyeonggi Province, urged, "Since chemical substances directly affect the safety of handlers and the living environment of residents, we ask for great interest in the customized consulting project for hazardous chemical emission businesses."
