Latest Industrial Digital Transformation Technologies Gathered... '2024 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Expo' Opens
On the 27th, the '2024 Smart Factory and Automation Industry Exhibition' will open at COEX in Seoul, with participation from over 500 domestic and international industrial digital transformation solution companies.
Over the course of three days, this event will showcase a variety of products and solutions related to digital transformation, ranging from factory automation components to Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI)-based industrial robots.
This year's event will feature not only product and technology exhibitions but also around 100 conference sessions introducing the latest global technology trends and outstanding domestic and international application cases related to digital transformation. Seminars unveiling new products and new technologies will also be held.
An online exhibition hall will be operated to facilitate one-on-one business matching between companies supplying digital transformation technologies and demand companies in manufacturing sites.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Kang Kyung-sung, 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Oh Ki-woong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Vice Minister Kang Kyung-sung stated, "Digital technology is a practical solution that can enhance safety levels at manufacturing sites, address the shortage of skilled workers, and elevate corporate competitiveness to the next level," adding, "The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will work as one team to support companies in boldly adopting digital transformation technologies."
