Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kwon Oh-seong) seized Chinese fishing vessel A (trawl net, 101t, 7 crew members) on the afternoon of the 23rd at 5:27 PM, 36 km northwest off Gageodo, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, for violating restricted conditions.

Vessel A was found to have entered our Exclusive Economic Zone on the afternoon of the 21st and engaged in fishing activities. On the afternoon of the 23rd at around 1:30 PM, it transferred 350 kg of catch to vessel B (trawl net, 101t, 7 crew members) but failed to record this in the fishing logbook.
