Busan Port Authority Announces Open Recruitment for Container Yard Operator at New Port Angoldong
Utilization of Export and Gong Con Temporary Storage Devices
Expected to Resolve Illegal Storage Issues
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) will publicly recruit companies to operate the container yard located in Angol-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, from the 26th until April 2nd.
The site area of the container yard in Angol-dong, New Port, is 8,395㎡ (approximately 2,540 pyeong), capable of stacking about 695 TEU based on 5-tier container stacking, and can be used as a temporary yard for export containers from Busan Port and empty containers.
BPA plans to select one operator through a competitive bidding process. Interested bidders must visit the BPA New Port branch and submit bidding documents by 5 p.m. on April 2nd.
BPA will form an evaluation committee to comprehensively assess the business execution capability, yard management and operation plans, and cargo volume handling plans of participating bidders. Among those scoring 70 points or higher, the highest scorer will be selected as the preferred negotiation candidate.
