Gyeonggawon, Multi-Biomarker Service
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is introducing a ultra-high-efficiency multiplex biomarker analysis system at the Suwon Gwanggyo Bio Industry Headquarters and starting multiplex biomarker analysis services.
On the 26th, the agency announced that it built the analysis system with an investment of 460 million KRW through the project "Establishment of a Data-Based Demonstration Support Platform for Healing Care Products and Services," supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gyeonggi-do.

View original imageThe ultra-high-efficiency multiplex biomarker analysis system uses barcodes to analyze cell phenotypes and fluorescent biomarkers at a single-cell level with high resolution. It distinguishes cell types within tissues and provides spatial biological information on cell-to-cell interactions.
Biomarkers are indicators that can detect changes inside the body using cells, blood vessels, proteins, DNA, and so on.
In addition to image analysis, it is utilized in various life science fields including ▲new drug development such as anticancer drugs and infectious disease treatments ▲organoid quality control ▲basic, preclinical, and clinical research related to immunology and tumor biology through industry-academia-research collaboration.
