But the reason was..." was uploaded on the 24th. The informant, Mr. A, explained the situation, saying, "While driving in the first lane on the highway, I heard the ambulance siren and changed lanes to the second lane, but the highway bus ahead in the first lane did not yield until the end, so the ambulance overtook through the second lane."
In the video, as Mr. A described, he changed lanes to the second lane to yield to the ambulance rushing with its siren on. The ambulance then closely followed the bus ahead, but the bus continued driving in the first lane without yielding for 100 seconds. Eventually, the ambulance changed to the second lane and overtook the highway bus.

A lawyer who watched the video commented, "It seems like the music was playing loudly," adding, "The bus driver might have been listening to music to stay awake, but (wearing earphones while operating a highway bus) is somewhat inappropriate."
Netizens criticized the bus driver with comments such as, "Is it possible that the bus driver did not check the rearview mirror even once for such a long time?", "Although some wear earphones to prevent drowsiness or noise, they should wear only one side; driving without any awareness of the external situation is not right," and "Was it intentional not to yield?"
According to Article 12 of the Emergency Medical Service Act, revised in December 2021, obstructing the rescue, transport, emergency treatment, or medical care of emergency patients by an ambulance can result in imprisonment for up to five years or a fine of up to 50 million won.
