Pyeongtaek City Provides Monthly Rent Support for Homeless Youth
Deposit of 90 Million Won and Monthly Rent Under 500,000 Won Eligible
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting candidates for the 'Pyeongtaek City Youth Monthly Rent Support Project' to alleviate the housing cost burden for young people.
The support targets include single-person households of young people without housing who, as of the project announcement date, have ▲a lease deposit of 90 million KRW or less ▲a monthly rent of 500,000 KRW or less ▲an income at or below 120% of the median income. The city plans to accept applications from the 15th to the 26th of next month and select beneficiaries.
However, those receiving the Gyeonggi Province Youth Basic Income, National Basic Livelihood Security, or benefits from Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) such as Happy Housing, Youth Purchase Rental Housing, or Temporary Special Support for Youth Monthly Rent are excluded from eligibility.
