Gurye-gun and Jeonnam Eastern Regional Headquarters Hold Win-Win Development Meeting

Strengthening Win-Win Cooperation, Joint Efforts for Regional Development, etc.

On the 21st, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it held a policy meeting with the Jeonnam Eastern Regional Headquarters at the Sansugwan conference room in Sandong-myeon.

This meeting was held to explore win-win cooperation plans between the two organizations and to discuss joint efforts for regional development, with 25 officials from both organizations attending, including Kim Sun-ho, the governor of Gurye-gun, and Jeong Chang-gyun, the head of the Jeonnam Eastern Regional Headquarters.

At the meeting, Governor Kim Sun-ho requested cooperation on major pending projects in Gurye-gun, including ▲ the Natural Dream Healing Cluster Development Project ▲ the construction of the National Buddhist Cultural Heritage Center ▲ the restoration project of the local cultural heritage site Gurye Namaksa Temple Site ▲ the establishment of the representative festival foundation Jirisan Namakje ▲ the installation project of scenic lighting at Seosicheon Stream ▲ and the registration of Jirisan Garden.

Governor Kim Sun-ho said, “Through this meeting, I expect it will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen the win-win cooperative relationship between Gurye-gun and the Jeonnam Eastern Regional Headquarters and to expand joint efforts for regional development.”

He continued, “The two organizations will work closely together and do their best to promote the development of Gurye-gun and improve the quality of life for local residents.”
