People Power Party Candidate Shin Seong-beom Visits Hapcheon Floating Solar Power Site
Status Check and Discussion on Eco-friendly Renewable Energy Response Measures
Shin Seong-beom, the candidate for the People Power Party, visited the Hapcheonho floating solar power site in person on the 25th to assess the status of the power plant and discuss measures to respond to eco-friendly renewable energy.
Accompanying him at the site were representatives from Hapcheon floating solar power, as well as Hapcheon County Council members Lee Han-shin, Park Anna, Shin Myung-gi, Kwon Young-sik, and Kim Moon-sook.
Shin Sung-beom, the People Power Party candidate for the National Assembly, is visiting the Hapcheon Lake floating solar power site in person to assess the status of the power plant.
View original imageCandidate Shin stated, “Global companies such as Apple and Google are participating in the RE100 campaign, and leading companies in our country are also joining. This means that domestic demand for eco-friendly renewable energy will increase further.” He added, “Hapcheon possesses the world’s first and largest multi-purpose dam floating solar power plant and has also attracted the Dumusan pumped-storage power plant. It will become a representative place for renewable energy in the future.”
He continued, “An additional 20MW-class floating solar power installation is underway at Hapcheonho. I will take the lead in establishing a ‘coexisting energy mix’ where nuclear power and renewable energy harmonize.”
