Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam conducted a Jinhae Gunhangje Festival fam tour on the 25th at Jungwon Rotary under the slogan of the 62nd Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, "Waltz of Spring, Shall We Love Our Cherry Blossoms?".
The purpose of this event was for the Changwon City blog and social media reporters to explore the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival venues and promote the festival through social networking services (SNS), thereby contributing to the revitalization of tourism.
On the day, about 30 blog and social media reporters discovered the diverse charms of the festival, and news of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival will be delivered nationwide through their social media as well as Changwon City's official SNS channels.
Social reporter Jeon Hyoju, who participated in the fam tour, said, "The 62nd Jinhae Gunhangje Festival this year is filled with various events and attractions befitting Korea's largest cherry blossom festival," and added, "I will actively promote the diverse charms of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival event site that I learned about today through SNS channels."
Public Relations Officer Choi Jeonggyu stated, "Since the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is a representative festival of Changwon City, we wanted to deliver news from the citizens' perspective, so we organized this fam tour," and added, "We hope that domestic and international tourists welcoming spring will have special memories with beautiful cherry blossoms in Changwon."
