Jeju Western Fire Station Conducts Special Rescue Training for Water-Related Accidents
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Western Fire Station (Chief Ko Jeong-bae) announced on the 25th that it recently conducted a special rescue training at Yongsu Port in Hangyeong-myeon to prepare for water-related accidents.

This training was promoted for the 119 rescue team members of the Western Fire Station to proactively respond to water accidents and acquire water rescue skills.
The training included ▲rescue boat operation training ▲inspection and mastery of water rescue equipment such as scuba gear ▲training for rescuing victims on water and underwater.
Chief Ko Jeong-bae said, “As water-related accidents have been occurring continuously recently, we will do our best to enhance expertise at various water accident scenes and ensure the safety of residents.”
