Hampyeong~Seoul Express Bus Service Increased from 1 to 2 Round Trips... Starting from the 1st of Next Month
Additional Seoul-bound Departure via Gimje, Leaving Hampyeong at 4 PM
On the 25th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that starting from the 1st of next month, the Hampyeong-Seoul express bus route will operate twice daily round trips.
According to the county, due to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the bus only operated once a day. Recently, with the return of quarantine measures to normal daily levels and the recovery of transportation demand, the service frequency has been increased.

View original imageWith this increase, the Seoul-bound route will operate at 10:35 AM and 4:00 PM. The newly added route will pass through Gimje City, Jeonbuk, without stopping at the existing Haebo (Munjang) and Jangseong. The Hampyeong-bound return trips will be at 10:40 AM (via Gimje) and 2:55 PM.

Lee Sang-ik, the mayor of Hampyeong-gun, said, "With the additional operation of the Hampyeong-Seoul bus route, we expect not only improved transportation convenience for residents but also revitalization of the local economy," adding, "We will do our best to develop transportation welfare policies to ensure there is no inconvenience to the residents."
