Ulsan City Supports SMEs in 'Packaging and Visual Design Development'
Recruitment of Participating Companies Including Local SMEs
10 Companies to be Recruited, Up to 18 Million KRW Support per Company
Ulsan City, in collaboration with the 'Design-Driven Manufacturing Innovation Center,' is recruiting companies to participate in the '2024 Small and Medium Enterprise Design Development Support Project' until May 9.
This project is designed to support the development of packaging design and branding (BI, CI) design through matching with design specialist companies, targeting small and medium enterprises in the Ulsan area (including youth, women, disabled persons, social economy, and village enterprises).
Ulsan City plans to select 10 companies by June and provide up to 18 million KRW per company to support design development.
Companies wishing to participate in the project can check the announcement on the Ulsan City website or the Korea Institute of Design Promotion website and apply by May 9.
An official from Ulsan City stated, “Small and medium enterprises can achieve innovation and strengthen competitiveness through design, and it is also expected to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.”

Ulsan City will hold an explanatory meeting on the corporate design development support project on April 25 at the Ulsan Design-Driven Manufacturing Innovation Center for local SME representatives and design association and institution officials.
