Live Ammunition Found Under Passenger Seat on Incheon Airport Flight, Investigation Underway
A live bullet was found inside a passenger plane about to take off from Incheon International Airport.
According to the Incheon Airport Police Unit on the 24th, at around 11:20 a.m. that day, during cleaning of a Korean Air passenger plane bound for Rome departing from Incheon, one 9mm caliber hunting live bullet was found on the floor under a passenger seat.
Immediately after the bullet was discovered, the police conducted a thorough security search inside the aircraft. The investigation found no other dangerous items.

The police have determined that there is no suspicion of terrorism related to the bullet for now and are investigating how the bullet was brought onto the plane.
