It has been sold through Shinsegae Group's distribution channels such as E-Mart, E-Mart Everyday, E-Mart24, Gmarket, and SSG.com. Shinsegae Food sold about 400,000 bottles while conducting campaigns such as the ‘CHOOllenge’ campaign, which involved filming videos of throwing the water bottle into the air and standing it upright on the ground, encouraging many baseball fans to empathize with and participate in the meaning behind Choo Shin-soo water, and uploading them on social media.
The sponsorship goods delivery ceremony was held with the attendance of Shinsegae Food CEO Song Hyun-seok, SSG Landers CEO Min Kyung-sam, player Choo Shin-soo, and six captains of middle school baseball teams from the Incheon area. At the event, 4,000 baseballs purchased with last year’s sales proceeds of 30 million KRW were delivered to six middle school baseball teams in the Incheon area. Additionally, to express the commitment to nurturing youth baseball through the sales of Choo Shin-soo water this year, 10,000 bottles of Choo Shin-soo water were provided to 10,000 spectators.
A Shinsegae Food official said, “We hope that the donation of sales proceeds from Choo Shin-soo water will expand support for youth baseball and draw social interest, contributing to the development of Korean baseball,” and added, “We ask for the active participation of baseball fans in Choo Shin-soo water, which will continue to be sold as part of the youth baseball development project in Korea.”
