Naju City Holds 'Integrated Defense Council' Meeting... Participation of 20 Organizations
On the 21st, Naju City in Jeollanam-do held the '2024 1st Quarter Naju City Integrated Defense Council' at the Chungmu Facility of the city hall, with about 20 committee members in attendance.
According to the city, the meeting included reports on the operation plan of the Integrated Defense Council, training plans to establish an integrated defense posture, and discussions for the development of integrated defense.

In particular, the integrated defense system involving civilians, government, military, police, and fire departments was thoroughly reviewed to prepare for regional crisis situations such as local provocations.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae stated, "In the event of local provocations or disasters, securing the lives and safety of citizens is the most important," adding, "We will strengthen the cooperation system among agencies and build a more solid regional integrated defense posture."
Meanwhile, the Naju City Integrated Defense Council includes 20 local institutions such as the city government, city council, police station, veterans affairs office, education support office, military units, financial institutions, and telecommunications companies.
