Kim Young-seop, Vice President and Head of the Film Business Division, has been appointed as the new President and CEO of Toray Advanced Materials.
On the 21st, Toray Advanced Materials announced that it had carried out a regular executive reshuffle appointing Vice President Kim as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

President Kim graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and earned a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university. He joined Cheil Industries' Technology Research Institute in 1989 and has held positions such as Head of Management Planning and Control Team, Head of Metalloyal Business Division, and Head of IT Materials Business Division. He has been recognized for his management capabilities by achieving outstanding results in a wide range of fields including research and development, sales, and planning.
Toray Advanced Materials stated that he is "the right person to lead sustainable growth" and expects him to lead the enhancement of competitiveness in existing businesses and early stabilization of new businesses by responding to rapidly changing environments with bold innovation and strong driving force.
Regarding this executive reshuffle, Toray Advanced Materials explained that it carefully selected leaders with the capabilities and expertise to overcome uncertainties in the business environment and strengthen the foundation for future sustainable growth.
