KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk, Employees Practice ESG Management Through Blood Donation Campaign
On the 20th, KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters conducted a blood donation campaign involving KT employees to overcome the blood supply shortage caused by low birth rates and an aging population.
The event took place at the KT Gwangju Tower in Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, using a blood donation bus, with voluntary participation from KT employees. Employees who could not participate directly contributed by donating blood donation certificates to help overcome the blood supply shortage.
The collected blood will be delivered to medical institutions through the Korean Red Cross.
A KT official stated, "As part of practicing ESG management, we will expand various campaigns in which employees directly participate, not only in life-sharing blood donation campaigns but also in environmental protection and social contribution."
