Gyeonggi-do to Host 'Dokdo Field Exploration' for 160 Middle and High School Students... Applications Open Until April 30
Gyeonggi Province is recruiting history and environment (ecology) clubs from middle and high schools in the province to participate in an on-site field trip to Dokdo until April 30.
The Dokdo field trip is a project hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the National Youth Maritime Center. It is a 4-day, 3-night event aimed at establishing a correct historical understanding of Dokdo, raising awareness of territorial sovereignty, and learning about the marine ecosystem.
The field trip will be held in three sessions. The first session will take place from April 30 to May 3 and is targeted at 40 club members from middle and high schools in southern Gyeonggi. The second session will be held from June 18 to 21 for 40 club members from middle and high schools in northern Gyeonggi, and the third session will be from July 2 to 5 for 80 club members from middle and high schools throughout Gyeonggi Province.
Clubs wishing to participate can apply by filling out the application form on the Gyeonggi Province (gg.go.kr) and National Youth Maritime Center (nyoc.kywa.or.kr) websites.
