Pyeongtaek City, Recruiting Students for Lifelong Learning Center Courses
Operation of 161 Programs
The Pyeongtaek Lifelong Learning Center in Gyeonggi-do will begin recruiting students for the '2024 2nd Regular Education Program' starting from the 1st of next month.
This program, designed to provide citizens with a variety of high-quality educational opportunities, consists of 161 diverse technical and hobby courses such as barista training, Pilates, computer skills, calligraphy, clothing production, Korean cuisine chef preparation, and pastry and baking technician preparation, offered at education centers in the northern, southern, and western regions. Any Pyeongtaek citizen aged 19 or older can apply.
Applicants can apply online through the 'Pyeongtaek Lifelong Learning Portal' from the 1st to the 11th of next month. For courses where the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, participants will be selected by a computerized lottery. The education period is from May 6 to August 24 for the southern and northern centers, and from May 6 to July 27 for the western center.
