KRC Enhances ESG Effectiveness with Self-Diagnosis Model
Korea Rural Community Corporation announced on the 19th that it will strengthen its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management efforts for the happiness of farmers and fishers and a better future for rural areas.
The Corporation has set its direction focusing on sustainable development plans for rural areas with sector-specific goals: ▲Environment: responding to climate change and realizing green management ▲Social: creating rural communities with safe and happy lives ▲Governance: achieving transparent communication management with the public. It plans to advance its ESG strategy system by discovering tasks through public participation. In particular, by developing an ESG self-diagnosis model, it will establish a feedback system to assess and improve ESG management levels, and enhance the effectiveness of ESG management activities through continuous discovery and resolution of regional cooperation tasks via the formation of a public institution consultative body.
